Banks Mini Malta Southern Caribbean Championships - GUY-2004 
Southern Caribbean Squash Championships coming to Guyana from 15-21 August, 2004. Competing for individual and team titles will be Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the O.E.C.S., with Venezuela unable to send a team this year.

World-ranked women's squash player Nicolette Fernandes regained the Southern Caribbean Women's Individual title last night when she defeated Barbados' Karen Meakins in the ladies final at the Georgetown Club last evening. In the men's final, three-time national men's champion Shawn Badrinauth, outlasted Barbadian Gavin Cumberbatch in three straight sets to win his first Southern Caribbean title. Both Fernandes and Badrinauth dedicated their victories to the late Gerard Greaves who died in a motor vehicle accident on January 1 this year.
